"options": [
"Quickly run to the kitchen to make tea, bring it back, and place it on the table",
"Ask the master what kind of tea and how much sugar they prefer",
"Place the prepared tea on a delicate tray, present the tray to the master at a suitable height with both hands while kneeling",
"Wait quietly for the master to call again"
],
"correct": 2,
"explanation": "A is what a regular servant would do. B involves asking too many questions before a clear command is given, which can seem disobedient. C demonstrates the standard serving posture (kneeling, presenting with both hands) and emphasizes ceremony. D is too passive."
},
{
"question": "Regardless of what you are doing, when you hear the master clearly call your name or title \"XX, come here,\" you should?",
"options": [
"Finish what you're doing and then go over",
"Immediately respond loudly \"I'm coming!\" and then quickly run over",
"Immediately respond clearly \"Yes, master!\" and quickly go to the designated position in front of the master using the proper quick-walk posture",
"Remain quiet and quickly walk to the master's side, standing with head lowered"
],
"correct": 2,
"explanation": "A violates the principle of 'immediate response.' B's response is not formal enough (lacks 'Yes, master'), and the posture/movement is not proper. C fully meets the requirements of 'immediate response + formal language + proper movement.' D lacks the necessary verbal response."
},
{
"question": "While serving the master, if you accidentally drop a valuable item of the master's (e.g., a book) on the floor, you should?",
"options": [
"Quickly pick it up, put it back, and pretend it didn't happen",
"Apologize immediately \"Sorry, master!\" and then pick it up and put it back",
"Immediately kneel properly beside the item, lower your head, and clearly ask for punishment: \"This servant was careless, please punish me, master!\"",
"Panic and explain: \"Sorry, master! My hand slipped...\""
],
"correct": 2,
"explanation": "A hides the mistake and is dishonest. B's apology is not formal and lacks an attitude of accepting punishment. C shows the correct posture for admitting fault (proper kneeling) and language (clearly admitting fault + asking for punishment), which is the most compliant way to show obedience and take responsibility. D is too panicked, the explanation is unnecessary and may be seen as making excuses."
},
{
"question": "In the morning, you need to wake the master. You should?",
"options": [
"Gently knock on the door, and after receiving permission, enter and open the curtains",
"Set an alarm and let the alarm wake the master",
"Stand by the bed and softly call: \"Master, it's time to wake up.\"",
"Five minutes before the master's set wake-up time, kneel by the bedside and softly call: \"Master, the time has come. Your servant is here to serve.\" Continue until the master opens their eyes and gives a clear instruction"
],
"correct": 3,
"explanation": "A is too ordinary, lacking ceremony. B is not hands-on, showing no proactive service attitude. C is not formal or proper enough. D demonstrates: being prepared in advance (on time), the correct serving posture (kneeling by the side), a clear wake-up phrase, and quietly waiting for the next instruction, which is the highest standard of service."
},
{
"question": "The master asks you to hand him his tie. How should you hand it over?",
"options": [
"Find the tie, walk over, and hand it to the master",
"Find the tie, and hand it to the master with both hands",
"Carefully fold the tie or place it on a small tray, walk to the designated position in front of the master (e.g., one step away), stand/kneel properly, lower your head, and respectfully present it with both hands",
"Simply drape the tie over the back of a chair to remind the master"
],
"correct": 2,
"explanation": "A and B lack attention to detail (not tidying up/not using a tray) and proper posture (not standing/kneeling in a fixed position, not lowering head or presenting with both hands), appearing casual. C fully includes elements such as tidying, container (optional but recommended), specific position, standard posture (standing or kneeling, lowering head, presenting with both hands). D is extremely casual and disrespectful."
},
{
"question": "The master is having a serious conversation with a guest, and you need to refill the master's tea. You should?",
"options": [
"Walk straight over and fill the master's cup",
"Quietly walk to a suitable distance behind and to the side of the master, kneel properly and wait. When there's a brief pause in the master's conversation or the master gives a glance, quickly approach (maintaining kneeling posture) and gently refill the tea",
"Ask the master: \"Master, would you like more tea?\"",
"Don't refill the tea for now; wait until they finish talking"
],
"correct": 1,
"explanation": "A directly interrupts and is extremely rude. C asking during a serious conversation can interrupt the master's train of thought and is inappropriate. D is not timely service, showing insufficient proactivity. B demonstrates: entering quietly, maintaining presence but staying low-key (waiting to the side/behind), obedient posture (kneeling and waiting), seizing the right moment (pause or glance), and standard action (refilling tea while kneeling), which is the most appropriate way to serve without disturbing the master."
},
{
"question": "During dinner, if the master has not started eating or has not explicitly instructed you that you may eat, you should?",
"options": [
"Stand waiting far from the table",
"Sit in your own seat but do not touch the utensils",
"Kneel in a position behind and to the side of the master's chair, quietly serving",
"Softly ask: \"Master, may I start eating?\""
],
"correct": 2,
"explanation": "A is too far away, making service inconvenient. B Without the master's permission, you should not be at the table or seated (unless the master has explicit rules allowing the maid to share the table). D In a formal dinner, actively asking for permission to eat is inappropriate. C indicates a clear position (behind and to the side of the master), posture (kneeling), duty (ready to serve at any time), and implies the rule that you may only eat when the master permits."
},
{
"question": "As per the master's rule: when there is no specific task instruction, what is your standard standing posture for serving?",
"options": [
"Stand casually, keeping comfortable",
"Stand at attention, eyes fixed straight ahead",
"Heels together, toes naturally apart at a small angle, hands clasped in front of the lower abdomen, back straight, chin slightly tucked, gaze respectfully fixed on the floor in front of the master's feet",
"Stand with hands on hips for easy readiness to act"
],
"correct": 2,
"explanation": "A is too casual. B is too rigid and militaristic, lacking the soft, respectful feeling characteristic of 'maid service.' C describes a classic maid standing posture that embodies humility and a state of readiness. D appears arrogant and rude."
},
{
"question": "The master says to you: \"You're dressed very appropriately today, good job.\" How should you respond?",
"options": [
"Happily say: \"Thank you for the praise, master!\"",
"Modestly say: \"This is what I should do.\"",
"Smile and say: \"As long as the master is satisfied.\"",
"Assume a proper posture (e.g., kneel/stand properly), respond clearly: \"It is by the master's grace/generosity.\" and maintain a grateful expression"
],
"correct": 3,
"explanation": "A, B, and C are ordinary thanks and do not reflect the property aspect (the root cause of dressing appropriately is the master's taste or grace). D emphasizes the master's power and ownership through language (attributing it to the master's 'grace/generosity') and posture (maintaining a respectful posture)."
},
{
"question": "According to the master's rules, what element must the maid uniform include to constantly signify status?",
"options": [
"Beautiful and delicate lace trims",
"An apron and headscarf for ease of work",
"An apron/collar/cufflinks bearing the master's specific emblem",
"Expensive and luxurious fabric"
],
"correct": 2,
"explanation": "A, B, and D are just common or functional/aesthetic elements of a maid uniform. C mentions 'the master's specific emblem' (e.g., family crest, specific symbol, even a collar) which directly marks ownership and is a core visual symbol in SM scenarios emphasizing ownership and status."
